Can I first off say how absolutely photogenic this family is. As my style is mostly posed with some candids and more lifestyle at the end of my sessions, the Biewenga family made my job a breeze. I also love being able to have fun with my families that I work with, and this family session was no different.
On this hot, muggy day in the middle of rainy season of Guam, we were still able to laugh our way through pictures between the shots. Their little boys, like most boys wanted to pick up sticks and rocks, so we played “Simon Says” when it came to picture time and I MIGHT have had a stick on my head for safe keeping 😉 We also had the shells that are only for good kids. So needless to say, we didnt have a dull moment. Im sure if someone recorded me working, they would get a good laugh.
My goal is to always make people feel comfortable during their session so that they are able to open up, especially which children are involved because I think most can agree, the kids run the show.
And of course Dadi beach didnt fail me, the amazing road with the overlaying tree branches, the contrast of the rocks against the sand and blue water on the beach does a good job and pulling a wonderful families session together
