Allisa was one of the first people to contact me about a session before I even moved to Whidbey Island. It was about two months out, so we had lots of time to plan for it so that her session was perfect.
When discussing locations, she wanted somewhere around Whidbey Island because it was a special place to her growing up. I think when doing Senior Portraits, it is so important to incorportate things in your senior session that make up who you are during this time of your life.
Rosario Beach was our winning locaiton. I am so glad that she loved the location as much as I did because her pictures could not have come out more stunning. I truly love working with this age group. I am positive I say that I love working with every genre I do with photography, but thats a good thing right?! 😉 Allisa plays volleyball and golf, so it was important to show this off during her session. Like I said, having your senior portraits showcase who you are during this time in your life, is truly what makes them so special.
We played around with a few different locations at Rosario Beach, each having a unique style and giving Allisa a ton of variety with her pictures. Each location showed off a different part of her personality.
Working here in the Pacific North West has been a complete 180 degrees from working on Guam, and there were a few times( I wish I had my own pictures of myself) where I was climbing over and under drift wood to find myself getting the right angle. I think I mentioned before I am going to do a follow up blog on how to prepare for you session with me here in the PNW and around Whidbey Island, because I think it would be so benefital. Maybe after a few more sessions, I can fill you guys in on how I think you should prepare 🙂
Anyways, continue to enjoy this awesome senior portrait session here right off Whidbey Island.
